Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is all set to appear as a wrestler in his upcoming film Sultan alongside Anushka Sharma, is said to be essaying a negative role in Dhoom 4. According to Indian media reports, the star has been approached by two big production houses to play villain in the sequels to Dhoom and Race.

While it is not confirmed whether Khan will accept the roles or not, word has it that he is ready to try something different now. According to DNA, “Salman wants to play a cool, stylish villain; he has never played one before. His negative role in Race 3 is almost finalised, but discussions are still on with Aditya Chopra for Dhoom 4. The issue is a financial one where Salman wants a stake in Dhoom 4, just like Aamir had in Dhoom 3. Salman wants the same profit-sharing ratio that was offered to the Dhoom 3 star. Once that is finalised, he’s on”.

Rumours also have it that actress Vaani Kapoor has  been approached by producer Aditya Chopra to star opposite Khan in the fourth installment. Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with Shuddh Desi Romance alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in 2013 and is currently shooting for Befikre opposite Ranveer Singh.

Though cannot be sure of Khan’s presence in Dhoom 4 or Race 3 as a villain, one does hope it happens. Salman Khan as a bad boy… it works.
