While the men of the two industries are embroiled in a controversial situation over Phantom’s ban in Pakistan and Saif Ali Khan’s subsequent ‘emotional’ fallout (which fuelled an outburst of emotions on this side of the border too), Pakistani women are busy establishing their careers in B-town, undeterred.

TV actress Mawra Hocane, who also got tangled up in the social media furore over her ‘unintentional’ support for the film, finally has a name for her Bollywood debut alongside Telugu actor Harshvardhan Rane. The film, made by Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao of Lucky: No Time for Love fame (starring Salman Khan), is said to be 50 per cent complete and has been shot across various international locations including Cape Town. According to Indian Express, Mawra’s Bollywood debut has been titled Sanam Teri Kasam and while there is no confirmation if the
project is a remake of the 1982 classic, the actress has describes it as ‘beautiful love story’ in line with Aashiqui 2.

Also heading to Bollywood is Javed Sheikh’s daughter and popular TV personality Momal Sheikh who recently disclosed the news. Though not a main lead, she’ll be seen playing a prominent role in the film titled Happy Bhaag Jayegi. The film has been produced by Aanand L. Rai of Tanu Weds Manu Returns, and has been directed by Mudassar Aziz. It will be the second coming of Diana Penty, who disappeared into the background after a successful stint in Saif Ali Khan’s Cocktail, and also stars Abhay Deol and Javed Sheikh.
