The recently released rom-com Karachi Se Lahore garnered a mixed reaction at the Pakistani box office but the cast and crew couldn’t be happier. It seems that KSL is the first ever Pakistani movie to be invited to premiere in Hollywood and the event took place over the weekend at the Harmony Gold Theatre in LA.
Photos of lead actress Ayesha Omar can be seen splashed all over social media and we’re not surprised. Dressed in a sultry custom Shehla Chatoor number, Ayesha looks super glamorous.
Co-star Shahzad Sheikh manages to keep up in a dapper blue sherwani. The entire lead cast and crew was in LA and they were joined by none other that Bollywood’s former bad boy, Gulshan Grover.
While it remains to be seen how the movie fares at the US box office, it’s a feat in itself to land in Hollywood and we’re happy to let director Wajahat Rauf and his cast bask in the glory.
