While Pakistani showbiz industry is emerging at a pace no one would have even imagined a decade ago, its blaze and brilliance have marked its territory in the world of fashion, drama and music globally to name a few. Though, it’s very rare to find a single gem that shines in every cut, Pakistani showbiz industry has those exceptions one too many. The burgeoning entertainment industry has uncovered and/or granted finesse to many precious stones lately. Like that wasn’t sufficed for a generous provision, our showbiz is gifted chiefly with Celebrity Siblings. In this series we’ll keep you posted of the moguls of the industry whose siblings are exemplary, top-notch and charming – all at once.

Our first for the series is none other than the JASWAL FAMILY.

Yes, Jaswal brothers need no introduction no more. To further instantiate this narrative, the three siblings have made their mettle in singing (with music composition and direction), acting (with creative ideas and story writing), directing & photography and modeling with those looks, it sounds pretty obvious. Apparently that covers the whole showbiz industry. (No exaggeration).

A Pakistani film & music director, photographer and writer. He was lead vocalist for the band ‘Call’, while his feature film debut is ‘Jalaibee’. Born: March 11, 1983 (age 33), Lahore. He won Lux Style Award, in 2014. Yasir is married and has 2 sons, named ‘Nael Jaswal’ and ‘Ryan Jaswal’. (Wonder what these two may turn out to be; Intriguing superstars, walking the footsteps of paternal side of the family/ just like daddy and uncles *wink wink*)

The most esteemed of the trio is Umair Jaswal, born: 20th December 1986, a young and energetic artist, fascinated with metal rock. Film and television actor, singer-songwriter and music producer from Islamabad. He began his career as a lead vocalist for the rock band ‘Qayaas’ and has never looked back ever since. Umair came to prominence after his hype-building performance in coke studio season 8 ‘Sammi Meri War’, alongside QB (Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch).

Umair didn’t stop at this and has been cast as a lead in an upcoming, much anticipated and discussed about, drama serial, Mor Mahal (director: Sarmad Sultan Khoosat). Rumor has it, Mor Mahal is going to break all the records previously made in the entire history of Pakistani Drama industry. (Too soon to comment though, let the drama speak for itself as it premiers today. *Fingers crossed*)

Well this young lad had started his career at the early age of 19. The pursuit of dreams made him work exhaustively, thus, in such little time; he glared as any other brilliant star of showbiz. Born 22nd November 1991 (age 24), Oregon, United States, He is a singer, music composer and actor. He has composed and sung some songs that are popular in Pakistan. He also made his Bollywood debut with the song ‘Tere Bin’ in the movie ‘Ek Paheli Leela’. To add more to his name, the man is celebrating his ‘Best Music Video Popular’ in 4th ‪#‎ServisHUMAWARDS while we talk about him. (Godspeed brah!)

This isn’t mere hyperbole to state that Jaswal brothers’ contribution to this industry comes next to nothing. We hope, in the days to come, we see more of that. There will always be some talent to bolster Pakistani showbiz industry and they will never fail to maintain their spot.
