Actress Ayesha Omar and her friend/co-actor Azfar Rehman met with a car accident, early Friday morning, at Karachi’s Super Highway. The two were reportedly heading to Hyderabad to attend an event when the incident occurred. Actor/host Fakhr-e-Alam took to Twitter to inform fans of the accident.
“Our showbiz colleagues Ayesha Omar and Azfar Rehman had a serious accident this morning, please pray for them,” he posted along with a picture of the accident site, showing a severely damaged car. Thankfully, however, both Ayesha and Azfar are safe and out of danger but have suffered major injuries.
Shortly after his first tweet, Alam informed that Ayesha and Azfar were stable and recovering. “Dear all, Ayesha Omar has suffered multiple fractures and Azfar has a broken collar bone. Both are conscious, stable and recovering,” he tweeted.
Ayesha and Azfar have been friends for a long time now and have worked together in numerous dramas. It was only recently that Azfar posted a heartfelt birthday message for Ayesha on Instagram promising to stay by her side always. Instep wishes the two of them a speedy recovery.
