In modern-day Hollywood if there’s one actor who has managed to strike a perfect balance, it’s Michael Fassbender. While Macbeth and Jobs showcase his versatility, the X-Men franchise has turned him into a global star.
Luckily, it’s not the only franchise he’s related to. There’s Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, which is coming back with a sequel with Fassbender reprising his role once more.
Closer to release perhaps is the video game adaptation, Assassin’s Creed in which Fassbender has vowed to impress fans. The film’s trailer recently made its way to ComicCon in Las Vegas and though Fassbender was not present himself, he sent some excellent film reel as substitute and a video message, which has the interwebs buzzing.
More importantly, with Assassin’s Creed, Fassbender has donned the producer’s hat and has vowed that the film is “a fantasy ride” and has a “compelling story, rich characters and breathtaking action sequences.”
So far, the trailer is living up to the hype and Fassbender’s promise. Whether the film manages to exceed expectations, time will tell.
