One of the most anticipated films of this year, the upcoming Dobara Phir Se has managed to create a fair amount of hype prior to its release, thanks to an all-star cast (Adeel Husain, Musa, Ali Kazmi, Atiqa Odho, Hareem Farooq, Tooba Siddiqui, Shaz Khan and Sanam Saeed) and the presence of ace director Mehreen Jabbar, who is known for her intelligent, thoughtful work.
Now that the first teaser trailer of the film is here, we can say that the hype is not without merit. Clocking in at 1 minute and six seconds, the film’s official teaser trailer paints a gripping, colorful picture.
Dobara Phir Se, exploring a multitude of relationships, is brought to life by a group of actors who look comfortable in every frame. While Zeb Bangash’s stunning vocals and the New York skyline envelope the beginning, the mood changes, emotions intertwine and your curiosity grows as things collide.
Universal themes of love, loss, friendship, growing up and the intricacy of relationships are explored in the film and so far, the feedback DPS is generating is very positive and has cinema fans excited.
Written and produced by Bilal Sami, and with background score by Haniya Aslam, DPS, shot in Karachi and New York, looks very slick and is all set to make its mark when it releases across cinemas this Eid-ul-Fitr.
